“Advancing the Rights of Vulnerable Palestinian Women and Children in East Jerusalem”

As a non-profit organization the Heinrich Böll Foundation is affiliated with the German party Alliance 90/The Greens (link). Financial support is mainly provided by the German Ministry of Development and Economic Co-operation (BMZ). The Heinrich Böll Foundation’s head office is located in Berlin with a staff of about 180 people.
Together with the EU support and with coordination and partnership with the five partners Right to Play, War Child, Sawa, ACAD and ArtLab, the Heinrich Böll Foundation Palestine & Jordan has launched the project „Advancing the Rights of Vulnerable Palestinian Women and Children in East Jerusalem” on September 1st of 2014. hbs knows about the specific necessity of such projects in East Jerusalem: “Palestinian residents in East Jerusalem face serious human rights violations and are strongly disadvantaged when it comes to social inclusion, employment and access to healthcare and education.”
Heinrich Böll Stiftung (Hbs) invites Civil Society Organizations (NGOs and CBOs) in East Jerusalem to submit proposals for funding projects that comply with Advancing the Rights of Vulnerable Palestinian Women and Children in East Jerusalem. The grants fund work is 15 month period starting in January 2016, and have a maximum up to Euros 18,750 per grantee. Interested applicants are requested to visit the hbs website www.ps.boell.org for detailed Criteria for Selection and the proposal application forms.
We strongly encourage NGOs/CBOs which their HQ based in East Jerusalem (old city and surrounding communities) to apply for this grant. The call for proposals opens 29 October 2015. The closing date for receiving applications is 16:00 on 29 November 2015.
Only short listed applicants will be contacted by December15, 2015.
