Firas Taweel is a Palestinian investigative journalist specializing in environmental and developmental issues. A graduate of Birzeit University in Radio & TV (2008), he has over a decade of experience in radio and television, including work with Palestine TV and Al-Quds Educational TV. Since 2014, he has contributed to Afaq Environmental Magazine and produced several investigations with ARIJ, where he also serves as a senior editor and coach. His work, which often exposes environmental hazards and governance issues, has earned him awards such as the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Award (2018) and the Journalist Friend of Local Government Award (2019).
