In partnership with Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Palestine and Jordan, Jordanian Women’s Union (JWU) organized in 2019 two three-day trainings, one for the judges of Jordan’s Judicial Council and one for Jordan’s Police Officers. Both trainings aimed to raise the level of knowledge on the national and international legal frameworks to protect labor migrants' rights and combat human trafficking. The trainings shed light on various case studies and emphasized the importance of the Jordanian Anti Human Trafficking Law No. 9, which was passed in 2009 to enhance the rights of migrants and foreign domestic workers in Jordan.
